The Graduate Nursing program operates on a cohort model beginning with foundational coursework that focuses on evidence based practice, 领导, 实践调查, 高级临床实践. On a full-time schedule, the DNP program is 11 quarters in length.

If you’re a practicing BSN- or MSN-prepared nurse 和 you are committed to providing direct care, the DNP Nurse Practitioner pathways will open doors to career options. You must have a current nursing license 和 at least 12 months’ experience as a registered nurse. Completion takes up to 11 quarters as a full-time student 和 up to 15 quarters on a part-time student basis.

DNP实习

If you are pursuing a DNP degree, you will need a minimum of 1,000 practice hours. 1的,000小时, a minimum of 500 faculty-supervised clinical hours focused on direct care of individuals 和 families within the APRN specialty are required for board certification 和 state licensure. For admission to the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, the following are required:
